Rihanna - California King Bed.
A Standard King is also called an Eastern King and a California King is also called a Western King. A Standard King is about 4” wider and a California King is 4” longer. This is the longest bed commonly available in stores and is the best choice for tall people.
Many thanks to interiordec.about.com for enlightening me as to what the hell a California King bed is meant to be (in my personal Ikea-based frame-of-reference I guess it would be called a KLFJÖRNE), although I think the video director may have made a mistake as the bed is clearly wider than it is long and therefore it is from Standard, not California.
Wherever it’s from that bed is going to be a right pain to change the sheets for. Rihanna’s having enough trouble getting tangled up in the curtains (that chap is clearly saying to her “come in or go out, love, but close the bloody door, you’re letting the draught in”). She also rhymes ‘made everything feel better’ with ‘even then my eyes got wetter’. This is not good, dudes (i.e. it is amazing?). My other half was watching this video over my shoulder and commented “it’s even worse than the Blanket Song”. The Blanket Song is also amazing. Sort of.
