Omar Souleyman - Leh Jani
It’s everyone’s favourite leather-jacketed Syrian shoulder-shuffler, Omar Souleyman. Of course he doesn’t do any dancing himself, he’s way too cool for that.
His set at Field Day the other year was tick vg though about 45 minutes of it is probably more than enough for anyone (perfect festival band!) - will definitely go and see him at Glastonbury this year on my way to the Brothers Bar.
(Yes I am going back to Glastonbury, hashtag ‘what was I thinking’ etc)
